My Story

Wow it's almost been 10 years since we graduated! I look back and it really
doesn't seem like I've done much! Here's what I've done...
After Holdenville graduation, I went to school at OU. After a year there, I
transferred to East Central University where I majored in Speech/Theatre
Education. Eric (finally) proposed in December of 2000. After 3 years at
ECU, I decided that being a teacher wasn't for me and I quit school and did
what I'd always wanted to do....I opened a photography studio in Holdenville!
I loved it!
While I was doing that, Eric was accepted into dental school at the University
of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, I made the decision
to close the studio there and put that on hold until Eric graduated.
We were married on June 14, 2002 in the Cayman Islands! Just the two of us!
We moved to Oklahoma City and the next month Eric started dental school.
I've had several jobs since we moved here, but I have gone back to
photography! We moved to Edmond in March of 2005 and on January 12
2006 we welcomed our first child, Brodey Keegan Massad! We are so lucky!
Eric finally graduated from dental school last year and he works for Bright
Smile Family Dentistry! Life is good!

Okay, since high school....
I went to UCO in Edmond. I met my husband, Courtney Christenson
there the summer before our junior year. We became best friends
first, actually meeting each other's parents for the first time as
friends. In December of 99, we officially became a couple. We got
engaged in April of 2000 (see pic!) and married May 26, 2001. I
graduated with a teaching degree in May of 2001 also. My husband
graduated the next May and he is a teacher too and he coaches
basketball. We moved to Texas in May of 2003. We love it here! We
live in Sachse, TX, which is just outside of Dallas. I teach 2nd grade
in Plano and my husband teaches biology and coaches basketball
in McKinney. I just started working on my masters degree in
counseling. Going back to school while teaching is
not the most fun, but it will be over soon enough.
And now for the answer to the question that we always hear...no, we
don't have any children just yet. We are really just having a great
time being married right now. No hurry. Maybe we will have a little
one by the time the reunion rolls around....maybe.... :) We do have
our hands full with our loveable boxer, Lambeau. He is so much
fun! I can't wait to see everyone again!!

Well here's what I have been doing for the last few
years.
I moved to Ft Worth TX, and got into the car
business. I work for a Toyota dealership, but I am
moving May 3rd to Tulsa. I have been a salesman,
internet manager, desk manager, finance
manager, and a few more managers. I have been
down here in Texas for 5 years. My career is about
to change.
I am moving in with Andy Mackenzie, and will be
working for the Tulsa Fire Department in the near
future.

Okay, so here is what I have been up to.
After graduation I went to ECU for a couple of years, then in the
beginning of 2000 I moved to California. By December of 2000, I
was engaged and my fiancé and I moved to North Augusta, South
Carolina when he separated from the Marine Corp and we
bought our first home.
We got married September 1, 2001 and I then finished my
business degree at USC. In December of 2003 we had out first
child, Sadie Elizabeth, and I am currently a stay at home mom. I
am also in graduate school at the Medical College of Georgia in
Augusta, however, I am taking a hiatus from that while we have
our second child (Wyatt Thomas), who is due any day now. I
should graduate next summer, though it will be little while before I
go back to work, since I am enjoying the time at home with my
family.

After graduation, I attended OU for a year and a half.
In January of 1999 I moved to Dallas, TX where I met
my husband Chris. We got married July 11, 1999
and had our daughter, Taylan Reese January 24,
2000. I graduated from the University of North Texas
August of 2004 with a B.B.A. in Marketing. We lived
in Sachse, TX for two years. We got transferred to
Houston January of 2005 for my husband’s job (he
works for the Cheesecake Factory) and are currently
living in Sugar Land. I plan on starting my career
when Taylan begins kindergarten in August.
